Just listed is this super neat very original un-restored turn key 1981 BMW 528i with only 137k and it has the very very desireable factory 5-speed manual transmission! As you may know very few of these were built set up like this in US spec and 44 years later you really rarley see them much less one of this quality, colors & equipment! This 1981 BMW 528i is finished in white over blue cloth upholstery and is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 14″ bottlecap alloy wheels with brand new match set of radials, power steering, power-assisted disc brakes, a working power factory sunroof, fog lights, a cassette stereo, fog lamps, power windows, and air conditioning. This E12 is offered with factory tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean title. The four-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,400-rpm redline as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The timing chain "not timing belt" driven 2.8-liter M30B28 inline-six features Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection for a factory rating of 169 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of torque. This one runs & drives out very smooth & strong & has that lovely inline 6 sound and feels very well balanced! It has lots of recent service in past 100 miles include new set of tires, new brake calibers, rotors & pads & more! The interior is nice clean & tidy, nice engine bay, nice undercarrage, nice looking paint & body! Overall this is one neat car that has survived the years!
